Description

The Nissan Sileighty joins the MINI-Z AWD line-up as a Readyset on the MA-020N-M chassis.

The Sileighty is a piece of drift folklore rather than a factory model: a Nissan 180SX whose damaged pop-up front end was replaced with the fixed headlight nose of a Silvia S13. The look caught on, the name stuck, and Nissan eventually sanctioned a limited run of its own. Few cars carry the culture of Japanese street drifting quite so directly.

Everything you need is in the box. Fit four AAA alkaline batteries to the car and four to the transmitter and you are ready to drive - no building, no soldering and no separate radio to buy. At 1:27 scale the MINI-Z Racer is small enough to enjoy indoors on a kitchen floor or an office carpet, which makes it a genuine year-round R/C car as well as a display piece.

Underneath sits the MA-020N-M all-wheel-drive chassis with the narrow-tread, medium-wheelbase setting that suits the Sileighty's proportions. Four-wheel drive gives MINI-Z AWD its characteristic planted feel and makes it the natural choice for anyone who wants to learn controlled drifting on a small indoor circuit. The Syncro KT-531P pistol-grip transmitter is included, as is a fully painted and decorated body finished to display-model standard.

The chassis accepts the wider MINI-Z AWD body range and a deep catalogue of option parts, so the car can grow with you from first laps to club-level running.
