Description
The Maverick QByte XB Flux in Green combines a race buggy profile with the reliability of a complete ready-to-run package. This is a buggy built to be driven hard on dirt tracks, grass and loose surfaces — the green livery just makes the mud look better.
Power comes from the MSC-4516-BL ESC and 2845 3800KV brushless motor — delivering strong linear throttle response and consistent pull to 38kph (24mph) on the included 7.4V 1600mAh LiPo. The 4WD shaft-driven platform transmits power to all four wheels simultaneously, so even loose surfaces reward committed throttle inputs rather than punishing them.
What separates the QByte XB from cheaper alternatives at this scale is the suspension specification. Oil-filled aluminium coilover shocks on all four corners, anchored to 8.5mm aluminium shock towers, mean the XB absorbs punishment that would bottom out a standard budget buggy. Independent double wishbone geometry tracks terrain precisely without the skip and judder from simpler designs.
The polycarbonate buggy body carries the clips attached directly to the shell, and the low-slung profile reduces aerodynamic lift at speed while protecting the chassis from impacts. Splashproof electronics mean wet-weather running is a non-issue.
