Maverick Scout-24 1/24 RTR Rock Crawler - Green

The Maverick Scout-24 in Green is a 1/24 scale ready-to-run rock crawler built to tackle terrain well beyond what its size suggests. Rocks, roots, indoor obstacle courses and back-garden trails are all fair game, and the scale roll cage and detailed interior give it the look of a full-size competition crawler in miniature.

The three-position transmission is the Scout-24 party trick. Neutral, a low ratio for deliberate precision crawling, and a high ratio that lifts it to 20km/h (12.5mph) when you want to cover ground between obstacles – a genuine gearbox rather than the single-speed setup most crawlers this size make do with.

Drive is 4WD through a shaft-driven, ballraced drivetrain, and multi-link suspension on oil-filled coilover shocks keeps all four high-traction tyres loaded on uneven ground. The triangulated chassis and impact-resistant nylon roll cage absorb the knocks that come with crawling, while the fitted LED lights make dusk runs and indoor courses genuinely usable.

Power comes from a 130 brushed motor run through an MSRS-BR418 2-in-1 receiver/ESC. Everything needed to drive is in the box bar four AA cells for the transmitter – the 7.4V 360mAh Li-Ion pack and USB charger are included, so it is ready to go the day it arrives.
